An award-winning program, which introduces young women in high school to female mentors who are currently working or studying in a skilled trade or technology field.

The Toronto-West Networking Dinner is organized by Skills Canada – an Ontario not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the skilled trades and technologies as viable, first choice career options for Ontario youth. The award-winning program has been running for nine consecutive years and introduces young women in high school to female mentors who are currently working or studying in a skilled trade or technology field.

TWIG has been a proud sponsor and participant at the Skills Networking Dinner for Women since 2003. The event is an important contribution to educating young women about the Trades. Carol Ringwood, TWIG Board member and representative from the City of Toronto Social Services, attended this year's dinner and delivered closing remarks.
